A Chateauneuf modelled blend of Grenache, Mataro and Shiraz. Opaque black brick red colour with a dark brick red hue. The nose throws up perfumed aromas of liquorice, black raspberries and dark plums over vanillin cedar, subtle leather and spice. Rich, soft and opulent the palate is still driven by primary fruit flavours of ripe dark raspberries, liquorice and dark plum with some earthy leather characters starting to force their way through. Excellent weight and power. Finishes spicy and velvety with a long aftertaste of dark raspberry, liquorice, dark plum, leather and spicy earth.
Drink now whilst the primary fruit flavours are still dominant.
Alc. 14.5%
