2002 Tallarook Chardonnay

The Tallarook vineyard was established in the 1980’s on an elevated but protected site on the northern slopes of the Great Dividing Range, Coastal Victoria. The vineyard is planted in a "cool atmosphere" which allows the Chardonnay to develop maximum flavours.
Brilliant, deep straw colour showing oxidative handling of the juice. Sophisticated nose of hazelnut, yeast lees, toasted oak and biscuit. Mouth filling flavours, creamy texture with beautifully meshed flavours of hazelnut, cashews and toasted oak. Excellent length and depth. Clean acid finish. Long aftertaste of ripe pear, white peach and spice.
