A monumental example of ripe Barossa Cabernet.

The inspiration behind Tait Wines was Giovanni Tait who migrated to Australia from Italy in 1957 to take up work as a cooper for B.Seppelt and Sons. Giovanni learnt cooperage from his father and grandfather before migrating to Australia and always dreamed of making barrels for his own winery. As his sons grew older, that dream was realised with the establishment of a small traditional winery. Today, sons Bruno with wife Michelle, and brother Michael continue to grow Giovanni's dream. An outstanding example of Cabernet, produced from 80 year old vines. Totally opaque black crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Superb nose of dark chocolate, plum, toasted oak and blackcurrant. The palate delivers a powerful expression of Cabernet - totally mouthfilling with flavours of spice, blackcurrant and liquorice allsorts. Perfectly balanced tannins. A monumental example of ripe Barossa Cabernet.
