2002 Stoneleigh Vineyard Marlborough Pinot Noir

At long last a very affordable Pinot Noir that has excellent varietal character. Bright crimson colour with crimson mauve hue. Aroma of dark cherry, spice, toasted oak and strawberry, showing excellent varietal character. The palate is mouthfilling with flavours of dark cherry, aniseed, strawberry and spice with a touch of stalk on the back palate. Soft round velvet smooth tannins followed by an aftertaste of cherry and spice.
