TASTING NOTES: Totally opaque black purple colour with purple hue. Superb lifted nose filled with notes of violets, blackberry juice and dark chocolate. The palate delivers the expected generous voluptuous Barossa profile. Flavours of spice, blackberry, dark chocolate and vanilla. Excellent weight with fine grained dry tannins which are quite persistent but perfectly necessary to support the fruit. Very long aftertaste of spice, blackberry, dark chocolate, plum and liquorice.
Cellar 4-5 years (2007-2008)
