2002 Skillogalee Shiraz

Another top red from the 2002 vintage. Totally opaque dark purple colour with black purple hue. Aroma of liquorice, mocha and dark chocolate, followed by spice, mint, violet and vanilla oak end notes. The palate reveals spicy plum and vanilla followed by a touch of stewed fruit and liquorice. Fine dry tannins with a good degree of acidity evident which requires time to integrate. Warm spicy back palate, with aftertaste of plum, spice and stewed fruit.
