2002 Samson Hill Estate Shiraz

This wine had promise, but unfortunately the malolactic fermentation has not been completed and after a short time upon opening, tiny bubbles began to appear. Bright crimson purple colour. Medium body. Aroma of spice, plum and white pepper with a hint of dark cherry. The palate has good weight and mouthfeel with some toasted oak emerging. Long aftertaste of spice, plum and black pepper.
