2002 Rosabrook Estate Semillon Sauvignon Blanc

Ten percent of this wine has been fermented in new oak, adding an additional layer of complexity. Pale, water like colour. The nose is intense with a degree of freshness that only comes from a wine that has been recently made. Herbaceous top note followed by gooseberry and tropical fruit. On the palate, the gooseberry and tropical fruit flavours are followed by a citrus spice back palate. Crisp acid finish, with a grassy, tropical fruit aftertaste.
