2002 Richard Hamilton Gumpr's Block Shiraz

Outstanding colour. Opaque black crimson colour with deep purple black hue. Aroma of violets, spice, blackberry, plum and raspberries. The palate is tight knit at the moment and lacks the typical McLaren Vale ‘joosiness’. The reason for this is due to the fact that the wine has recently been bottled and is still in recovery mode. Flavours of plum, spice and white pepper emerge and flows through to the aftertaste.
