2002 Punters Corner Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon

This wine has been matured in a combination of old and new American, French and Russian oaks. Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson, brick red hue. Tea leaf is evident as a top note, followed by spice and blackcurrant. The palate is short and lacks depth. Flavours of tea leaf and stewed fruit are overcome by dry hard tannins.
