AN OUTSTANDING EXAMPLE OF GRENACHE.
These Bush vines were planted in 1944 and have been dry grown. Very deep crimson colour with mauve purple hue. The nose is perfumed, with notes of violets, raspberry, liquorice and spice, followed by a hint of liquorice. The palate is generous with flavours of liquorice, dark chocolate and spice emerging. Excellent weight and mouthfeel, followed by a long aftertaste of spice, liquorice, dark chocolate and raspberry.

Other Reviews.....
Excellent colour; lush red and black fruits in a web of fine, cedary tannins – simply delicious. Best of all it has a screwcap. RATING 93 DRINK 2007
