Closure: Cork

The outstanding quality of the 2002 Rieslings is now a well established fact, with most of the wines sold and being cellared for a few years. The top examples were relatively expensive, but well worth it. Peter Lehmann has released his 2002 Riesling at a price that is an absolute bargain. Bright pale straw colour. The nose is impressive with its fresh lifted aromatic floral notes, followed by lime, citrus and orange blossom. The palate delivers on the expectation of the nose with lime and lemon flavours filling the mouth over a spicy background. Crisp acid finish. Long lime lemon aftertaste.
