2002 Oliver's Taranga Vineyards Shiraz

Opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Aromatics of dark chocolate, ripe blackberries and liquorice fill the nostrils followed by some vanillin cedar, a touch of leather and spice. Rich and supplely textured the palate is filled with flavours of liquorice and dark chocolate over some ripe blackberry, vanillin cedar, leather and spice. Velvet smooth tannins. Long liquorice, dark chocolate, vanillin cedar, leather and spice aftertaste. Decanting is recommended to remove a heavy sediment.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
