Named after the Oliver’s winemaker Corrina Rayment, a sixth generation family member. Made from a blend of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon and 45% Shiraz, the wine was matured in a combination of 25% new American oak and 75% old American and French oak for 22 months.
Another outstanding effort from the 2002 vintage by the Oliver’s, showing excellent ripe Cabernet flavours. Totally opaque black purple colour with deep purple hue. Superbly perfumed nose. Top note of violets, followed by spice and blackcurrant. The palate continues to impress. Mouth filling flavours of spice, blackcurrant, and liquorice overlaid with violet infusions and vanilla. Excellent palate length, with velvet smooth tannins. Very long aftertaste of spice, blackcurrant, plum and blackberry with fine dusty tannins persisting. Very Limited Stocks.
