2002 Moondarra Moorabool Pinot Noir

Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Strong varietal nose of spice, black cherry and strawberry followed by a hint of aniseed as an end note. The palate tannin structure is much drier than expected and a lot firmer than necessary to give the palate a velvet texture. Flavours of cherry and charry oak are followed by a hint of ripe plum. Lingering dry tannin aftertaste.
