2002 Meerea Park Lindsay Hill Viognier

Made by winemaker Rhys Eather. Brilliant straw colour with slightly green hue. The nose displays a classic Viognier aroma profile. Exotic ripe tropical fruit on the turn, yet a little short on intensity. The palate profile comes to the fore, with powerful mouthfilling flavours of tropical fruit and paw paw. The back palate is a touch coarse, but is part of the style. Very spicy finish which runs a long way through the aftertaste.
