2002 McWilliams Regional Collection Shiraz

Totally opaque colour, with black crimson cling to the glass. The nose is lifted, with notes of spice, dark chocolate, mocha, ripe plum and violet. The palate has impressive weight, with flavours of ripe spicy plum, stewed fruit and mocha evident, followed by liquorice and vanilla back palate. Very good length. Fine, dry tannins. Moderate aftertaste of plum, spice and vanilla.
