2002 Leo Buring DW F18 Leonay Riesling

A classic Riesling and a wonderful example of the kind of intensity and complexity that the varietal is capable of delivering. Brilliant, very pale straw colour with delicate green hue. The nose is superb - very aromatic dominated byexotic wild lime, lemon and orange peel. Very distinctive. On the palate the wild lime and lemon flavours are dominant, providing the wine with excellent length and depth. A mouthfilling Riesling enhanced by a crisp acid backbone and very long lime, citrus, orange blossom aftertaste.
