2002 Josmeyer Les Folastries Gewurztraminer

A powerful Gewurztraminer. Brilliant straw colour. Pungent nose filled with the aroma of lychee, spice, loquats and ripe nectarine. Mouthfilling, power packed palate with generous almost viscous mouthfeel. Flavours of honey and toasted oak, overlaid by lychee, lemon butter and spice. The acidity is holding up but not for the long haul. Very long spice, lychee aftertaste.
