2002 Jeanneret Denis Shiraz

An excellent red, named in honour of winemaker Ben Jeanneret’s father. The fruit is sourced from 138 year old dry grown vines and matured for 20 months in French oak. Opaque black crimson colour with deep black crimson hue. The nose delivers an impressive sniff, with aroma of dark chocolate, spice, vanilla and confectionery. Mouthfilling palate flavours of spice and blackberry overlaid with dark chocolate and violet infusions . Excellent length and depth with perfect tannin balance. Very long aftertaste.
