A wonderful indie Laddie, distilled in 2002 and bottled as part of Hidden Spirits 'Highproof' collection.

Tasting note: Amber gold. Shy at first, the malt-sherry combination building with a nutty, cocoa-like feel to the nose. 2-3 minutes swirling ups the purity and definition; prunes, pipe tobacco and whiffs of toasted hazelnuts. Quite a chocolatey malt offering dense, beautifully rounded flavours in a thick, oily delivery…late berry fruitiness and purring spices; toasted oak, nut-chocolate and beeswax lingering through the finish.
