2002 Grant Burge Summers Chardonnay

This wine has been matured in new French oak hogsheads with 7 months lees contact. Bright straw colour with delicate green hue. The nose has subtle barrel ferment character with notes of biscuit, yeast lees, oak and cashew evident. The palate displays a touch of citrus followed by peach, melon, cashew and yeast lees flavours. Excellent depth and balance with long lees, citrus and biscuit aftertaste.
