2002 Gibson's Barossa Vale Merlot

Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Aroma of mulberry and spice, followed by a hint of truffle. The palate has excellent fruit flavour profile and delivers a sense of direction for this variety in Australia. Flavours of mulberry, earth, spice, vanilla and liquorice allsorts emerge. Soft tannins. Aftertaste of plum, spice, vanilla and mulberry.
