Pale straw gold in colour. The bouquet delivers a complex sensory equation of white peach, honey suckle, flashes of dirt and matchstick, orange marmalade and a whiff of vanilla bean.. Rich, creamy with a rollicking sensation as the myriad of flavours flow to the back of the palate. It is difficult to describe. As one flavour emerges another seems to rise up and gently tumble over the former. The palate is smooth, refined and beautifully crafted: stone fruits, a hint of mineral, honey suckle, spicy oak notes, soft poached pears, a touch of toasty oak and bit of funk. Oak and acid are integrated and provide a strong influence in ensuring the intense flavours are delivered to every corner of the mouth. Exciting, complex and irresistible.
