The 2002 Chardonnay was aged 19 months in 50% new French oak. It reveals considerable flavor concentration as well as aromas reminiscent of honeysuckle, tropical fruits, tangerine skins, and subtle new wood. Full-bodied and rich, yet light on its feet, it is a serious Chardonnay to drink over the next 2-3 years.
