Geoff Hardy is regarded as one of Australia’s top viticulturists, and if there is any doubt in his ability, a visit to his breathtaking Kuitpo Vineyard in the Adelaide Hills will certainly dispel that doubt – a visual sensation. The Pinot Noir is grown on the K1 block which was planted over 20 years ago.

Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. The nose displays strong varietal character with notes of ripe plum, spice, strawberry and a hint of liquorice emerging. The palate has excellent weight with flavours of ripe plum, spice, strawberry and a hint of liquorice emerging. The tannin structure is fine, well balanced but dry. This is necessary to support the fruit weight of this wine. Very long aftertaste of spicy ripe plums and dark ripe cherry.
