2002 Domaine Georges Michel Golden Mile Pinot Noir

Translucent mauve colour with mauve, crimson hue. Aroma of bacon, winter strawberries, toasted oak, nutmeg and clove. The palate reveals flavours of nutmeg and clove followed by violet infusion and stalky character. On the back palate the stalky flavours persist and are supported by fine grained tannins and a very long aftertaste of spice, cloves and cinnamon.
Cellar 3-4 years (2007-2008).
