2002 d'Arenberg High Trellis Cabernet Sauvignon

A big McLaren Vale Cabernet. Totally opaque black colour with deep black crimson hue. Aroma of vanilla, spice, mocha, blackcurrant, cedar and dark chocolate with a trace of mint manifesting as an endnote. On the palate flavours of spice, mocha and blackcurrant are overlaid by a hint of white pepper. Fine dryish tannins. Long aftertaste of mocha, blackcurrant, dark cherry and spice.
