2002 Craggy Range Gimblett Gravels Vineyard Merlot

An impressive Merlot with cellaring potential. Opaque black crimson colour with black crimson hue. Aroma of chocolate and cedar, followed by notes of truffle, mulberry and a hint of liquorice. The palate delivers plenty of ripe fruit flavours, with mulberry, spice and liquorice allsorts, followed by a touch of leather and earth on the back palate. Fine dry tannins. Aftertaste of mulberry and new leather.
