2002 Chapel Hill Shiraz

This wine is maturing well. Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue, holding its age well. The nose is showing bottle age however, with aromas of spice, plum, violet and old leather. The palate flavour profile is a touch short with flavours of violets and spice followed by black pepper and stewed fruit. Fine dry tannins. Aftertaste of plum, stewed fruit, spice and leather.
