Bouvet Ladubay is regarded by many wine lovers as the finest expression of sparkling wine from the Loire Valley. The house is owned by Taittinger Champagne and as such employs precisely the same wine making process as the Grand Marque itself. This is the most complex of the Bouvet sparkling wines and a very consistent style. Generous creamy mousse with fine, persistent bead. The nose is more pronounced than the Bouvet Brut, expressing both vintage variation and more time on lees. Aroma of baked apple and quince, followed by nuances of toast and yeast lees. The palate flavours have a richer creamer texture, with long flavours of yeast lees, baked apple and biscuit emerging. Clean acid finish.
