Notes sourced from Beringer Blass:

The 2002 Annie’s Lane Riesling is pale in colour, with vibrant green hues. The nose displays the elegant classic characters of Clare Valley Riesling; minerally, citrus, lime and lemon with a hint of perfumed floral blossom. On the palate, limey citrus flavours show finesse and elegance with balanced crisp zesty acidity in a lingering finish. Alc/Vol: 12.0 %
Cellar 5 to 8 years (2007-2010).

Tasted 08/10/2002An excellent Riesling, again reflecting the strength of the 2002 vintage. Bright pale straw colour. The nose is lifted and displays an excellent lime top note, followed by spice, orange blossom and ripe pear. Mouth filling palate, with very good length and mouth feel. Flavours of spice, lime and ripe pears. Crisp acid finish, followed by a very long lime, pear and orange blossom aftertaste.
Cellar 2-3 years (2004-2005)
Alc/Vol 12%
