First Tasted: July 2003
The wine is relatively tight at the moment, however with a couple of years more in the bottle, the palate will blossom. Opaque crimson colour with purple hue. Top notes of blackcurrant and spice followed by a liquorice end note. The palate has impressive length but the depth is still to evolve. Hints of mint over blackcurrant, earth and cedar. Fine dry tannin structure.
