Grape Varieties: 80% Trebbiano and 20% Chardonnay (100,000 bottles produced)
Region: Produced since 1984 from a vineyard in the commune of Catignano in the Bolognano hills on the east coast of Italy in the region of Abruzzo.
Vinification: Hand picked grapes are crushed using a soft press then macerated on the skins before passing through a vacuum press to extract the flower must. Only the purified part is used for fermentation which takes place at low temperatures.
Characteristics: Pale yellow straw with green highlights, its bouquet is intense and persistent following through to ripe apples and a hint of almond biscuits on the palate, with a fresh dry finish.
Serve: 10-12°C
Try it with: Fish, white meat and risotti
