2001 Yering Range Cabernet Sauvignon

An impressive Cabernet, made from fruit grown by Kevin and Margaret Ryan. Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Classic, cool climate Cabernet nose, with aroma of cedar, cigar box, blackcurrant and spice, followed by a delightful violet endnote. Excellent palate structure and flavours with violet infusions meshed with plum and stewed fruit over a cedar and spice back palate. Fine grained tannins. Velvet smooth. Followed by a long aftertaste of cedar, blackcurrant and spice.
