Notes sourced from Mildara Blass.

Select parcels of Chardonnay fruit were sourced from a range of vineyard sites throughout South Eastern Australia including the Barossa Valley and McLaren Vale. The grapes were harvested in the cool of night to retain the fresh varietal fruit flavours.
Following pressing, a portion of the wine received some barrel fermentation to add complexity. Other portions were allowed to undergo malolactic fermentation to soften the wine. The wine was blended and some further oak maturation has resulted in the full flavoured wine that is a benchmark Australian style.

This premium wine is vibrant yellow straw in colour. Some barrel fermentation in a combination of French and American oak has given this wine lovely peach and melon aromas so typical of the variety. The medium to full-bodied palate has lively Chardonnay fruit, oak flavours and a creamy texture courtesy of partial malolactic fermentation. The finish is long and dry. Will gain further richness and complexity with 2-3 years bottle age but is excellent drinking now.Alc/Vol: 12.7%
