A small percentage of Viognier has been added to this wine. Totally opaque black crimson purple colour. The nose is delightful with aroma of vanilla, cedar, spice, blackberry and liquorice emerging, finishing with a violet and earth end note. The palate has ripe fruit character evident, but lacks complexity of flavour. Moderate length. Palate flavours of spice and plum emerge over a blackpepper background. Fine grained perfectly balanced tannins, followed by an aftertaste of spice, plum and blackpepper.
