2001 Voyager Estate Shiraz

An outstanding Margaret River Shiraz! Totally black purple colour. Superb lifted nose of violets and spice followed by a hint of ‘animal’ and blackberry. The palate is very spicy with big ‘joosy’ flavours emerging. Powerful black pepper flavours emerge followed by layers of plum and liquorice. Excellent length and persistence. Perfectly balanced fine, dry tannins followed by a profoundly long aftertaste of spice and black pepper.
