This was Normans big foray into Kosher wine, and 30,000 cases were destined for the export market. Made from a blend of 80% Cabernet and 20% Merlot. Bright crimson colour with mauve hue. Medium body. The nose is youthful, yet balanced. Aroma of dark chocolate, spice and plum, followed by a restrained, inky end note. The palate displays moderate length, with flavours of spice, liquorice, blackcurrant and stewed fruit. Fine grained tannins, followed by a long aftertaste of plum, spice and liquorice. A very well made example of Australian Kosher wine.
