A big smoky wine. Deep crimson mauve colour. Aroma of cedar, confectionary and spice followed by mulberry, violet end notes. The palate has good weight and mouthfeel, with flavours of smoky oak, roast coffee, liquorice, plum and spice. Fine grained, dry tannins, followed by an aftertaste of liquorice, mocca and ripe plum.
