2001 Tatachilla Partners Cabernet Sauvignon Shiraz

A great everyday drinking red. Deep crimson mauve colour. Lifted nose, with youthful aroma of spice, liquorice and plum, followed by a hint of confectionary. The palate is full bodied with generous flavours of ripe plum and spice. Excellent length with continuing flavours of plum, spice, blood plum, cherry ripe and dark chocolate. A very pleasant surprise. Fine grained tannins, followed by a very long cherry ripe, dark chocolate and liquorice aftertaste. This is a wonderful entry example of the quality of wines that the 2001 vintage will deliver.
Cellar 2-3 years (2004-2005).
