2001 Swagmans Kiss Sauvignon Blanc Semillon Chardonnay

Bright deep straw colour, showing signs of early development. Aroma of yeast lees and biscuit followed by a faint grassy end note. The palate is short and quite hard. Subtle tropical fruit and confectionary flavours emerge, followed by a grassy tropical fruit aftertaste.

A wine to be drunk now. Bright pale straw colour. The nose displays a hint of tropical fruit, followed by slightly broad notes of peach and paw paw. Surprisingly, the wine is losing its freshness already. On the palate, flavours of ripe pineapples, peach and tropical fruit with a hint of coarseness evident. The acidity is holding up for the short term.
