2001 Starve Dog Lane Merlot

Bright crimson colour with mauve hue. Medium body. The nose has distinct Merlot notes of spice and mulberry fruit followed by end notes of truffle and violet. The palate has moderate length, with mulberry fruit character evident. The tannins are very dry and firmish, lingering onto the aftertaste.
