An outstanding new release, with Keith Mugford imprimatur stamped all over it. Pale watery colour, delightful, fresh, aromatic nose of tropical fruit and ripe gooseberries. The palate is generous and displays an abundance of ripe gooseberries, spice and tropical fruit flavours, with just a hint of aniseed on the back palate. Excellent weight and persistence. Crisp acid finish, with very long tropical fruit and gooseberry aftertaste. Cellar 1-2 years.
