2001 Redbank The Anvil Shiraz

A very good Heathcote Shiraz, but not a great one. Bright, deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Aroma of confectionary, plum and spice with a hint of vanilla emerging as an end note. On the palate, flavours of plum and spice are present with a hint of stewed fruit and blackpepper. Good length, with fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of plum, white pepper, stewed fruit and confectionary.
