2001 R.L. Buller & Son Limited Release Mondeuse Shiraz

Totally opaque black purple colour with purple hue. Aroma of dark chocolate, mocha and spice followed by a hint of liquorice. The palate has a very solid structure, if there is any criticism it’s just a bit too solid and lacks complexity and refinement. Flavours of plum, liquorice and spice emerge with hints of ripe raspberry and blackberry. Fine dry tannins which are persistent and drying. Aftertaste of ripe plum and mocha.
