A small percentage of Barbera, Nebbiolo and Cabernet have been added to the blend. Crimson colour with crimson mauve hue. Aroma of stewed plum and spice with just a touch of liquorice. Good palate weight and mouthfeel, with flavours of stewed plum, raspberry and spice. Fine grained tannins, excellent balance followed by a long aftertaste of stewed plum, spice, raspberry and old leather.
