2001 Plantagenet Hazard Hill Vineyards Semillon Sauvignon Blanc

The Plantagenet Hazard Hill has proved to be one of our best selling whites and only came to our attention after one of our wine loving customers discovered it on a tropical island resort. Since its discovery it has offered wine lovers a great chance to drink an intense, full flavoured wine at an exceptionally modest price.Brilliant straw colour. Excellent lifted nose, with distinct notes of gooseberry, spice, tropical fruit, over a herbaceous background, finishing with musk confectionery end notes. Mouthfilling, Graves like flavour, very intense on the palate, with flavours of ripe gooseberries, ripe pineapple, confectionery, musk and spice. Crisp acid finish, followed by very long aftertaste of confectionery and ripe gooseberries.
