2001 Peel Estate Premium Red

This wine is comprised of a blend of Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Brick red colour with brick red hue. Strong bottle age, mellow body. Aroma of cedar and cigar box followed by blackcurrant. Flavours of stewed fruit and tea leaf. Dry tannins which are very persistent. Tea leaf aftertaste.
Cellar 1-2 years (2005-2006).
