2001 Padthaway Estate Eliza Pinot Noir Chardonnay

Creamy mousse, with moderate size bead but relatively short persistence. The base wine displays the colour of apricot, with a faint damask tinge. Delicate nose of strawberry and yeast lees followed by a creamy textured palate. Flavours of strawberries and white peach – just a delight, and a rather unexpected flavour twist. Excellent balance, followed by a long strawberry, lees aftertaste.
